Why Frequency Matters: The Science Behind Sound Healing

Have you ever felt a "vibey" song instantly change your mood, or felt the literal rumble of thunder in your chest? That is physics in action.
At Healing Hertz, we use sound not just for relaxation, but as a biological tool for change.

The Law of Entrainment
The core science of what we do is called Entrainment. In physics, this is when two oscillating systems synchronize their cycles. When your frantic, stressed brainwaves meet the deep, stable frequencies of a quartz singing bowl, your brain naturally slows down to match that rhythm. We call this moving from Beta waves (stress/work) to Theta waves (deep meditation and healing).
Vibration at a Cellular Level
The human body is approximately 70% water. If you drop a stone into a pond, ripples spread to every corner. Sound healing works similarly. The vibrations of 432Hz—often called the "natural frequency of the universe"—travel through your body’s water, providing a "cellular massage" that helps release physical tension that stretching alone can't reach.
The takeaway? You aren’t just listening to the sound; you are absorbing it.
